Highways Licensing & Enforcement Officer

An opportunity has arisen for a Highways Licensing & Enforcement Officer to join a client in London. You will be responsible for issuing licenses to businesses for advertising, issuing licenses for skips / scaffolding on the highway and enforcing the legislation when the licensing restrictions aren't adhered to

This is a full-time contract position expected to last 6 months+. The rate is negotiable for the right candidate, circa £20 - £22 per hour

Main duties include:
·Issuing licenses to businesses for advertising / use of footway
·Issuing licenses for the use of skips / scaffolds / temporary structures on the highway
·Enforcing the legislation when licensing restrictions aren't adhered to
·Preparing case files and legal information for prosecution where licenses have been breached

Previous experience in Highways Licensing and Enforcement is essential for this role. Carrington West are also looking for Permitting Officers and Inspectors with similar backgrounds across the South of UK - please get in touch to find out more.
