Highly Specialist Practitioner Psychologist

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical or Counselling) to join the Community Intensive Treatment Team (CITT) and Crisis Team within Specialist CAMHS.

The successful candidate will be skilled in engaging children, young people and their families experiencing significant distress in relation to their emotional wellbeing within highly complex contexts. Joint working and supporting other members of the multi-disciplinary team will be key aspects of the role, as well as partnership working with health, education and social care. The post holder will have core therapeutic skills in evidence-based therapeutic approaches and be willing to engage in training and ongoing supervision in order to consolidate and enhance these skills. The post holder will also be expected to utilise any advanced skills in specialist areas of interest; and support the team by sharing expertise and knowledge in regular peer group discussions and contribute to the development of the service by actively participating in team away days.

Supervision, training and professional development are highly valued and supported to provide a high-quality service to the children, young people and their families accessing the service. The successful candidate would be joining a friendly and proactive multi-disciplinary team with a commitment to personal and professional development and wellbeing.

Part time 25 hours per week
