Hunter Mental Health currently have a client who is a specialist service providing NHS funded intensive mental health packages and residential placements for complex young people aged 16-25. They offer intensive therapeutic provision, for young people often transitioning from inpatient or secure settings, to support them to be able to maintain community placements. They specialise in working with young people with a diagnosis of PD and/or complex PTSD but work with the full range of clinical presentation.
Owing to organisational growth, an opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Psychologist to join their existing team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who thrives in a multi-disciplinary environment and who is particularly interested in working with young people with complex needs. You would be joining our existing team of 5 clinical psychologists, family therapists, psychiatrists, and nurses.
The post holder would provide both direct clinical input and work in a systemic way with the residential teams. You would also offer supervision, consultation, teaching and clinical leadership within the multidisciplinary setting. They are committed to the development of their staff through CPD and training and are active in the field of research.
If you would like to discuss this post further or want to arrange an informal visit please contact the Hunter Mental Health Team.
