Child Psychotherapist, Band 8aBromley CAMHSLooked After and Adopted Children’s Service (LAAC)Part Time: 18.75 Hours/5 sessions per week

Applications are invited for a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist with at least 2 years post-qualifying experience to work in a friendly multi-disciplinary teams within Bromley CAMHS which provides services in the London Borough of Bromley.

This Post will part of a multi-disciplinary team which includes; social work clinical psychology, family therapy and child psychotherapy and psychiatry, which provides a specialist service to Looked After and Adopted Children, their carers / parents and professional networks.

This will include providing psychoanalytic assessment and treatment, brief, medium and long-term, of infants and parents, children and adolescents. It will also involve the provision of psychoanalytic mental state assessments of children and adolescents when requested by other members of the team.

You will also offer support, training and consultation to foster carers / parents, and professional colleagues as required, as well as to the wider network. This role will also offer the opportunity to build on Leadership skills in helping to develop the service and to ensure its ongoing effective running.
