  • Clear valid DBS Required (or willing to apply)
  • Previous Teaching Assistant experience essential

Responsibilities of a Higher Level Teaching Assistant:

  • Support small groups or individual students requiring additional assistance.
  • Monitor students' progress and collaborate with teachers, parents, and carers to discuss development.
  • Independently teach classes in the absence of teachers due to illness or leave.
  • Set up classrooms for lessons and prepare materials.
  • Plan and deliver learning and enrichment activities, either independently or with guidance from the teacher.
