You will be working with Hays, a successful and respected agency, finding you vacancies for teaching assistant, learning support assistant and cover supervisor roles, in a range of Primary schools in the South Devon area.
Your new role will begin as a temporary position, on both long-term and short-term contracts, with the opportunity of it evolving into a permanent placement. Hays have taken care and dedication in finding the perfect school and role for you, based around your experiences and you career.
Your new role
Your new role will be to compliment and amplify the teachers' delivery of the national curriculum and work cooperatively with teachers, pupils and other support staff.
You will be asked in your new role to lead small and large groups or whole classes, establish relationships with other professionals or agencies to support the work of pupils, attending staff meetings, contributing to the development of the school and reporting on the progress made by pupils.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a qualification as a higher level teaching assistant or a Level 4 certificate in Teaching and Learning Support, with experience working with Key stage 1 ages. You will also have experience managing behaviour over larger groups. You will be an energetic individual with the want to work with children, aiding teachers in the education of young minds in some of the most successful and forward thinking primary schools in Devon.
