HLTA Required for East London Secondary School on a full or part time basis

Your new role
Working alongside the class teacher you will be an integral part of supporting, planning and implementing lessons. You may be asked to cover lessons whilst the teacher is away from class and be able to provide feedback. You will be expected to be able to support both 1 to 1 and with group interventions. As well as your general day to day classroom duties you may be asked to manage other classroom based staff and liaise with parents and carers.
What you'll need to succeed
You must hold an HLTA qualification and have relevant and recent experience of working as an HLTA within the British National Curriculum. You will be confident with planning and delivering lessons and able to work closely with other teaching staff and senior leadership. You will have the skills to help shape the curriculum and be experienced at managing a team of Teaching Assistants. You will be a strong communicator and very organised. You must have in depth knowledge of the National Curriculum and child development. You will be a creative individual with an innovative approach to education.
