HGV1 drivers urgently required

HGV1 Drivers immediately required for on going work with our client based in near Salisbury. Successful candidates will be added to a rota immediately and worked continuously from now and right through the typically quiet period of Jan / Feb/ Mar. Days/nights/weekends available. No nights out. £120 mon - fri, £135 for weekends and bank holidays.

Interaction Recruitment are proudly supporting a large national distribution network in the recruitment of Class1 drivers for their depot near Salisbury. Our client operates 24/7 as the transport arm for one of the largest privately owned discount retailers in the UK, with over 400 stores and more being opened every month.

The successful candidates will be required to deliver goods to stores nationally, averaging 2 or 3 deliveries per day. You will be delivering to loading bays or well equipped unloading areas. On most occasions loading bay staff will take charge of the loading and unloading process, although you will on occasion be required to assist with the strapping in of roll cages and off loading goods.

We are therefore looking for experienced HGV1 drivers who are committed to working continuously for our client. Ideally you will have experience of store deliveries and also double decker trailers. A full driving assessment and 2 days training will be given.

For insurance and health and safety reasons you must meet the following criteria:

> A full UK c+e Category driving licence
> A UK Digital tachograph card
> A valid driver CPC evidenced with a Driver Qualification Card
> No more than 6 penalty points on the licence, with no single endorsement over 3 points.
> No DR/DD convictions
> A high level of understanding both spoken and written English.
