Applicants must have served a recognised apprenticeship as a HGV Mechanic and hold NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualifications in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
The successful HGV Mechanic will have to be able to cope with the day to day pressures that a normal vehicle workshop brings and be able to make decisions when faced with breakdowns or vehicle accidents.
Possession of a full UK Driving licence is required and holding a Commercial Licence would be an advantage, however driver training can be provided to the successful HGV Mechanic.
The hours of work for the this HGV Mechanic role are 14:00 to 22:30.
Earning Potential for this HGV Mechanic role is £15.20 per hour + overtime is available at an increased rate.
