HGV Class 1 Weekend Drivers - Ashby-de-la-Zouch Ref - JYY

Staffline are delighted to be appointed as the sole supplier to one of the most prestigious contracts in Leicestershire, where we require a full time professional HGV Class 1 weekend drivers for ongoing assignment to start immediately at their distribution centre based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

We are delighted to offer flexible working options, across either AM or PM with a minimum of 9.5 hours guaranteed per shift and O/T is paid after 8 hours. The role will include delivery of chocolate/biscuits across the UK and there is no interaction with the load. We are able to provide successful applicants with the opportunity to work on a fixed shift patterns, regular ongoing work on Saturdays and Sundays each week for this 24 hours operation. As a professional HGV you will be fully competent in driving HGV vehicles to the highest of standards providing a first class service to all customers whilst working within the company's procedures and guidelines, to ensure the smooth flow of the operation and customer expectations are met. Most assignments are long term for those that desire an ongoing opportunity.

The pay rates for Ltd Company weekend drivers are as follows:

  • Saturdays - £15.95 per hour
  • Sundays - £16.47 per hour

Only HGV category C+E drivers will qualify. A minimum of 12 months HGV driving experience is desirable. You must have no more than 6 penalty points for driving offences and no driving bans. References to cover the last 3 years will be required.
