HGV Class 1 Driver (Nights)

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (Nights)
Location: Haydock
Pay Rate: £18.49 - £24.09 per hour

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers for Trunking work based in Haydock. You will be responsible for delivering various goods using Curtainsider trailers to locations across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operating an HGV Class 1 vehicle for trunking
• Loading and unloading goods using a Curtainsider trailer.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure road worthiness.
• Ensuring deliveries are made on time and in a professional manner.
• Adhering to all road transport and traffic laws.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Up-to-date CPC and Tachograph card.
• Good knowledge of UK road networks.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Shift Details:

• Nights
• 8 - 12 hours a day
