Helpdesk Engineer who has some prior experience working within either a Helpdesk or Service desk environment, providing 1st and 2nd line remote and desktop support is required by my client who are based in Goole - DN14. They offer an excellent working environment, benefits and career progression and are looking for a number of motivated Helpdesk Engineers to join their innovative team.

Based in Goole, East Yorkshire, the company offer an excellent range of benefits including an excellent training and progression program, on-site gym, pension, on-site canteen and also free parking on-site. As a Helpdesk Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a collaborative team in modern offices where you are more than just a number!

As a Helpdesk Engineer the starting salary for the role will be up to £22,000 which includes an on-call allowance, with an additional bonus on top. There is a shift pattern with this role - than run from Monday - Sunday and between the hours of 7am - 11pm, please only apply if you are flexible to work these shifts.

The Successful Helpdesk Engineer / 1st / 2nd Line Engineer will hold the following skills:

  • Experience working in a similar role on either a Helpdesk/Service Desk environment
  • 1st /2nd Line Support experience
  • Good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, Basic Networking
  • Call Logging
  • Experience providing remote and desktop support over the phone, via email and face to face.
