Tailored Recruitment Consultancy are currently recruiting for an international Brand organisation in Birmingham. The company are looking to recruit a Helpdesk Coordinator/Administrator who will be able to offer clients central support while delivering locally to their, often varied, property network.


The role is to own and administer the helpdesk function for our client, receiving input from key stakeholders and providing decisions on all queries relating to facility design, technical and supply chain that arise relating to the brand standards. An eye for design and general ability to read and understand design drawings & space plans is important, as is someone who is thorough and rigorous in following up responses to queries and is able to provide quick and accurate feedback to ensure project timelines are met. This role is ideal for someone looking to expand their existing knowledge within an architectural or automotive background.

  • Managing enquiries and responses to related questions received through a global email helpdesk

  • Follow up on enquiries internally and externally with relevant stakeholders

  • Processing and uploading project documentation/drawing reviews onto a central filing system

  • Maintain a tracking system for projects/drawings reviewed

  • Obtain project documentation for architectural review

  • Produce monthly reports

The Person

  • Previous experience working in an Architecture/Construction/Engineering office or related field

  • Design/branding background would be highly advantageous

  • Excellent organisational and administration skills including the ability to multitask and meet deadlines

  • Must possess the ability to create and send well written emails correspondence and follow up with phone calls on outstanding issues

  • Ability to think outside the box to solve tasks and develop solutions

  • Strong MS user, competent with Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Ability to use AutoCAD and Photoshop would be advantageous

  • An understanding of automotive retail is desirable

  • A driving licence/own transport would be advantageous as the office location is difficult to access via public transport
