Helpdesk Administrator

Our client, a successful and well respected financial services organisation, are currently recruiting for a Helpdesk Administrator to provide 1st line IT helpdesk support and administration, to ensure the efficient service management of the IT infrastructure and systems.

Responsibilities

- Answering helpdesk/IT department telephone calls and queries
- Call logging of helpdesk service requests
- Service management and administration of service requests
- Management and administration of the service management platform (SysAid)
- Desktop PC builds and decommissioning; installation of desktop software
- Production of monthly service management statistics and MI
- Maintenance of the Society’s IT asset database, CMDB and support documentation including work instructions
- Moves, changes and setup of new users and equipment including Active Directory
- Telephone PBX management
- Daily system checks, housekeeping and production control of routine IT activities
- General user support

Skills and experience required:

- At least 12 months of experience in a technical role would be beneficial
- At least 12 months of experience working for a financial services organisation would be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills
- 5 GCSE at Grade C or above including Maths and English or equivalent
- An IT related qualification would be beneficial
