Helpdesk 1st Line Support

The Opportunity:
Due to expansion, this local company are looking to recruit a smart, communicative IT professional
You will be working as part of a team providing a first point of call for clients. Assisting in the smooth running of their networks via remote support, telephone support and at-site administration

Who will you be working for?

Salary £23k to £25k dependent on experience

What will you be doing day to day?
Answering telephone calls, email and support tickets from clients and resolving queries in a friendly and efficient manner
Providing help to the support team including procurement, stock check and warehouse organisation
Provide support on issue resolution, installation, audit and support along with server checks on a regular basis

You will be based at the main office and also visiting clients

Are you the ideal candidate?
As well as having a good knowledge across networks, servers, security, software and hardware, the main attribute is AN ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY BOTH IN WRITING AND VERBALLY
This is a professional, yet fun office where you get to share your PASSION for all things technical!
You MUST have knowledge of MOST of the following:

NETWORKS - Switching, VLANs, Routing, Fibre optics, Copper Circuits, Wireless, ADSL
SERVERS - Experience in administering: File sharing, print server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Exchange
SECURITY & MONITORING - Firewalls, Anti Virus, Patching, Web filters, SNMPc,
OPERATING SYSTEMS - excellent knowledge of all Windows Platforms, Windows Server 2003/2008/2012, MAC, Chrome
SOFTWARE- Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft office packages, Office 365, Exchange, Google Drive, iOS,
HARDWARE - MacBook, iPAD, iPhone, Android devices, Blackberry
