Role: Help Desk/Systems Administrator (6 month contract)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm
Our client, a world renowned market leader, is seeking to recruit to its IT department on a 6 month fixed term contract with an immediate start
Core duties for the Help Desk Administrator:
* liaise with internal departments
* provide 1st line IT support
* manage hardware and software maintenance
* procure IT equipment, software and services in line with budgets and requirements
* assist with the set up of the technology platform
Experience needed for the Help Desk role:
* flexible approach
* excellent communication skills
* passion for IT
* a desire to find solutions to problems
A knowledge of the following would be ideal
* Microsoft Exchange
* VOIP/SIP Telecommunications
* SQL Servers
* Office 365
* Apache Tomcat
* Veeam backup
This is a 6 month contract - there is an outside possibility that it may become permanent but by no means guaranteed
