Healthcare Quality Improvement Specialist - Midlands, North East, East Anglia, UK

Our client one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers whose mission is to provide the best care possible to elderly and vulnerable people are growing and constantly improving their services.

Working on behalf of our client we are looking for a Quality Improvement Specialist to assist them in the delivery of the high-quality care that they are currently accustomed to. Whilst our client aims for 'Outstanding’ results from the relevant regulatory body, they will only accept 'Good’ as a minimum.

In assisting with this goal, the ideal candidate will be required to conduct a schedule of operational, quality and service reviews throughout their group covering independent hospitals through to care homes. Focusing on the implementation of improvement activates you will report into the Lead Quality Improvement Specialist and provide support and guidance to the independent hospitals and care homes. Following on from these reviews you will use strong organisational skills to put together action plans that will support the clients in the delivery of first class care, naturally strong communication skills are a must, you will need to explain and articulate said actions plans to ensure 'buy-in’ from the relevant management staff to ensure that they are on-board. You will also be required to identify opportunities to coach staff in best practice, therefore experience of mentoring others is essential.

Experience in one of the following areas is essential; Mental Health Setting, Auditing or Quality Improvement, you must possess strong IT skills and be comfortable working on your own or as part if a team.

Our client will also provide training and development, profit share scheme/bonus as well as various other benefits. A UK driving licence is a major advantage due to the travel element of the role as there are various services throughout the country living in the Midlands may be of advantage. A car, laptop, mobile will be provided.
