As a Healthcare customer service Co-ordinator you will need to possess an understanding and ability to work with sensitive, complex and confidential situations. A flexible and adaptable approach to work is required in order to be comfortable in a changing environment. You will also need previous background in customer service, IT skills and knowledge of the local area is essential for this rewarding role.
Now the important stuff!
This position is full time and although it is initially a temporary contract for 6 months there are opportunities for this to become a permanent position. The operation is open 08:00am to 20:00pm Monday to Saturday and Sundays 08:00am to 19:00pm, 365 days a year. During these opening times you will be required to work a 12 hour shift pattern ….sound daunting? It's really not; as an example the most consecutive days you will work is 3 with at least 2 days off & the rolling shift pattern means you work approximately 1 in 3 weekends!
A typical 2 week shift pattern example;
Monday & Tuesday off
Wednesday , Thursday & Friday 8am -8pm
Saturday & Sunday off
Monday & Tuesday 8am -8pm
Wednesday,Thursday, Friday off
Saturday 8am -8pm
Sunday 8am -7pm
The pay rate is £8.55 per hour which is paid on a monthly basis. We also offer a generous holiday allowance of 23 days paid holidays as well as 8 bank holidays on top of the days you do not work due to the shifts! Due to the nature of the working environment security checks will be carried out prior to final offer. This will include a check for current bankruptcy notices, County Court Judgements (CCJ's) and Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVA's) and a criminal record check for unspent convictions.
