Established in 1999, Fairlie Healthcare is a leading provider of high-quality care. We specialise in caring for younger adults with neurological conditions, as well as patients with tracheostomies and who require ventilator support.
We currently have two homes, Fairlie House in West Norwood and Highfield House in Purley. Both homes have achieved the highest rating from the Care Quality Commission and we continually strive to maintain our 'Outstanding’ service.

We’re currently looking for a number of Healthcare Assistants to join our home in Purley.
- Salary of £8.30 per hour (rising to £8.80 on weekends)

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide high-quality care to residents at our home in Purley.
Our home is a 45 bed purpose-built centre providing specialist care to young adults with a range of complex conditions.
You’ll learn how to provide trachea and ventilator care and help staff to deliver a range of care services, including social activities.
While no experience is required, to join us as a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll need:
- A passion for caring for others
- Great communication skills
- A positive attitude
- The ability to work well as part of a team
It would be great if you had an NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification, but this isn’t essential.
Other organisations may call this role Trainee Care Worker, Care Assistant, Trainee Support Worker, Junior Social Care Worker, Junior Healthcare Worker or Trainee Healthcare Co-ordinator.
This is a full time role, working 12 hour shifts, 8:00 - 20:00.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a DBS check.
