Wizard Recruitment are currently recruiting for friendly Health Care Assistants to join our team on an ongoing basis, by delivering their support to various locally based clients in residential care homes.

We currently have lots of work available for reliable and determined candidates to work as Healthcare Assistants alongside adults and children including those with learning difficulties, the elderly or with any other mental needs. Therefore, you will be required to work in a range of different health care environments including residential homes to community services.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be interacting with residents daily and most importantly ensuring they remain comfortable and retain their self-respect at all times. The level of support and care required can vary from one resident to another, but you will be required to help with their personal care such as dressing, toileting, feeding and other daily duties.

We are looking for people with:
• A genuine desire to help vulnerable groups of adults or children.
• The ability to communicate with respect to people from a wide variety of ethical backgrounds.
• Punctual and enthusiastic attitude .
• Kind and patient towards residents at all times.
• Flexibility with shifts as they can vary from day to night.

Experience in Healthcare for at least 3 months is essential and we are keen to get new Healthcare Assistants who can register as soon as possible, if you have a valid DBS certificate and satisfactory references.
