Academics are currently recruiting for a number of Healthcare Assistant to aid in the care of vulnerable and at risk Adults.
Academics are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people. All post holders are subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
The role will involve supporting service users both physically and emotionally in there day to day lives. Daily activities will be varied and will range from working with service users in the community to working as part of a team in a residential setting.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with Adults with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) also experience working with children and adults with Autism will be beneficial as some service users will be on the autistic spectrum. However this is not essential as training will be provided. You will be a positive role model with a genuine passion for promoting the wellbeing of the adults under your care.
