Healthcare Assistant

We are actively recruiting for a Health Care Assistant to work in our mobile unit in Derriford on a Fixed Term Contract.

The contract is 20 hours per week.

What does being a Health Care Assistant at InHealth involve?

Ensure the smooth running of the working day by receiving and preparing the patients for their procedure, and completing administrative tasks within the various diagnostics clinics. Providing clinical and clerical support to the practitioners, using a patient management system to enable effective and efficient patient care to be delivered and maintaining a safe clinical environment in line with the Company’s Health and Safety and Infection Control.

What skills and experience will you need to apply?

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good listening skills with an ability to present information in a logical manner
  • Ability to follow instructions and be a team player
  • Good basic typing skills/PC usage
  • A good standard of education demonstrated by numeracy and literacy
  • Fluency in English language
