Healthcare Assistant / Support Worker

Bradshaw Bretton are looking to grow its team of valued and Experienced Care worker in Leeds

We require flexible and experienced individuals who are dedicated to providing a high standard of care and professionalism.

Healthcare assistants play a key role in supporting qualified professionals in people's home and in the health-care environments. Depending on the individual role and setting, a health care assistant may assist with daily support. The position will involve interacting with our client 1-1 on a daily basis, assisting with personal care and medication, meeting people's nutritional need, as well as supporting with accessing the local community.

Applicants must have some previous clinical experience (6 months minimum preferred)

Full training is offered and on-going regular support.

We offer competitive rates of pay starting from £8 per hour up to £12.00 following a successful completion of probationary. Enhancement pay for evening and weekend with mileage contribution for drivers.

Many part-time opportunities are also available.
Although care assistants may not need any specific qualifications, it is important that they pass a induction and a Criminal Records Bureau check. While employed in the health-care sector, it is possible to work towards a QCF in health or health and social care.
