Role: Healthcare Assistant x 5
Hours: Required to work a minimum of x 3 - 12 hour shifts (8am-8pm or 8pm-8am).
Salary: £7.91ph week days & week nights & 8.41ph weekends (this equates to £8.62ph & £9.17ph for jobs with unpaid breaks)
Highfield House is a purpose built complex care home providing personal and nursing care for up to 45 residents who are medically highly dependent due to their complex care needs. Our home specialises in the care and management of Adults from age 18 plus with a wide range of neurological problems as well as those with spinal injuries and those whom may require mechanical ventilation.
We expect our staff to deliver the highest standard of care to our residents and we offer our staff a comprehensive and full training package so your commitment and interest in ensuring that you personally deliver high standards of care is essential.
All the positions require you to work rotational day and night shifts, during the week and at the weekends. All shifts are 12 hours (8am-8pm or 8pm-8am). You will be contracted to work 3 shifts a week although additional shifts will be available if you wish.
We can also accept candidates that wish to work only night shifts
As an HCA you will assist qualified staff in providing the highest possible standard of care for residents and learn competencies in trachea and ventilator care.
You will also be required to assist our residents with personal care and with moving and turning.
You will also be required to participate in social activities for residents and maintain a respectful, non-judgemental and caring attitude.
As HCA you will assist your colleagues in providing a homely, welcoming, friendly and professional environment.
This is going to be a challenging, varied and busy role so you will need to be focused, reliable and flexible.
