About the role:
Interserve Healthcare is a leading care provider who puts care at the heart of everything we do. We currently support a range of clients varying in age and care requirements which include; mental health, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and clients with more complex clinical needs.
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant with one of our mental health or learning disability clients, you will support with personal care, social interaction, moving and handling and daily activities.
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant with a complex client, the duties will vary dependent on each client's individual care plans but are likely to include; personal care, assistance with moving and handling, support with community outings, medication awareness, trachy and vent care and PEG feeding. This is working alongside another carer in a 2to1 situation at all times.
Hours of work vary from 12 hour days and 12 hour night shifts.
Excellent rates of pay from £9.00 - £12.00 per hour.
Following skills & experience required:
• 6 months previous care experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Have a caring and compassionate attitude
