Health & Social Care Teacher

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PRU Teacher to deliver Business Studies alongside Psychology, Tourism & Leisure, or other BTEC subjects within a specialist PRU setting in Ilford, Redbridge.

• Plan and deliver an engaging, differentiated curriculum

• Teach Business Studies alongside Psychology, Tourism & Leisure or BTEC courses

• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of learners with SEMH needs

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and positively

• Track progress and support students towards accreditation

• Work collaboratively with pastoral and behaviour teams

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent

• Experience teaching Business, Psychology, Tourism or BTEC courses

• PRU, SEMH or alternative provision experience preferred

• Strong behaviour management and trauma-informed practice

• Passion for inclusive and restorative education

• Small class sizes

• Strong multi-disciplinary support
