health, safety and environmental compliance officer

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a new professional wanting to begin their journey in health, safety and environmental compliance officer within a unique employee owned organisation. This role is a varied with no two days the same.

Your role as a health, safety and environment compliance officer will include:

  • Working with multiple-sites across England in a guidance and compliance capacity.

  • Aiding managers in controlling and maintaining a safe environment for the children, parents and visitors.

  • Completing bespoke internal health, safety and environment audits.

  • Undertaking risk assessments and completing accident investigations.

  • Working alongside our kitchen operatives to maintain our excellent food hygiene standards and nutrition provisions including maintaining our Food for Life Served Here accreditation and assisting menu design.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills

  • Flexible to travel to other sites including a full, clean UK driving license.

  • Strong people skills with the ability to listen, support and guide colleagues

  • Knowledge of environmental issues with an interest in this area
