Health & Safety Advisor

Our client is one of the UK's leading Utility Company's with an excellent reputation in the industry. Due to growth within the business they have an immediate requirement for a Health & Safety Advisor to work on utility projects.

Key Essentials:

* You will be required to provide competent advice and guidance on Health and Safety issues on site

* Your role will involve overseeing Health & Safety on Projects in the utility division to meet the contract and business needs and objectives

* Undertake regular site inspections, safety audits and conduct toolbox talks

* Assisting in the investigation of strikes / incidents and providing advice on the root cause of these incidents

* Provide all accident reports and inspections or audit findings in a timely manner and report to the Health & Safety Manager

* Ensure that resources are available to Operatives and Supervisors including appropriate documentation (safe dig drawings) and training

* Identify methods for continually improving the performance of the Division


* As Health & Safety Advisor you should be qualified with a NEBOSH General and hold NRSWA Supervisor accreditation

* You should have a minimum of 2 years previous experience working as a Health & Safety Advisor in the utilities industry

* You should be an excellent communicator with meticulous attention to detail

This is an excellent position that offers a salary of up to £42k + Package
