Health Care Assistants Days and Nights

We are recruiting Students at Southampton University, to work in Nursing homes, Residential homes and Learning Disability establishments in the Southampton area as well across Hampshire and Sussex.

We have starting Pay Rates of

  • Minimum £8.30ph for Days
  • Minimum £9.00 for Nights and Weekends
  • With enhancements for Bank Holidays, and we are fully compliant with AWR (Agency Workers Regulations)

What You Need:

  • Genuine interest in working within the caring environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, Written and Oral
  • Team player
  • Willingness to participate in vocational training programmes
  • Commitment to our Mandatory Training Programme, 3 Days of Training
  • Complete a New DBS (Criminal Record Check) or be subscribed to the Update Service

We pay all our staff the same rates of pay regardless of age. 18-24 year olds are paid the same as all our staff

Job Role: Health Care Assistant

Hours: Flexible Opportunities to work around your Studies

Days: Days shifts can start from 7.00am and some finish at 10.00pm, with combinations,

between those times.

Nights: Nights can range from 8.00pm to 8.00am

Job Description: To work within the home providing the needs of the service users, to contribute effectively to the provision of a service designed to ensure safety, maintain health and encourage realistic independence for the service users. Providing personal care to both male and female service users will be essential.

Transport: Elite Care can provide Transport for you to get to and from work if required. This is voluntary.
