Are you a qualified Health and Social Care Assessor? Or do you have experience within the Health and Social Care Sector at Management Level?

Baltic Recruitment Commercial Team are currently recruiting for a permanent Health and Social Care Assessor for a National Training Provider to cover the West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire Area including Doncaster, Wakefield, Barnsley, Leeds, Bradford. To teach and assess learners. Delivering Levels 2-5 qualifications to the required standard and timescale.

Health and Social Care Assessor Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for a caseload of learners
  • To deliver the appropriate qualifications
  • To maintain paperwork to the required standards
  • Ensure learner retention
  • Responsible for building and retaining relationships with employers
  • Review learner's performance
  • Motivate/drive learners to achieve in line with agreed targets and deadlines
  • Support the learning process
  • Plan the assessment process with learners - observe/record assessment and complete all relevant documentation
  • Ensure effective teaching and learning is planned and delivered according to learner's development needs and requirements
  • To ensure audit trail of the learner's journey on qualification is maintained and recorded to evidence learning achievements and outcomes
  • To provide effective IAG service to both internal and external clients/customers
  • Promote Company at every opportunity with funding bodies, learners, placements, careers, schools and any other applicable external bodies
  • Feedback any business opportunities to the Manager
  • Plan, schedule and evaluate own work
  • Provide Manager with accurate forecasts as required
  • Any other duties as requested

Health and Social Care Assessor Applicants:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) English and Math's
  • A good knowledge of IT based systems
  • D32/33, A1 Unit or TAQA
  • Outstanding Organisational skills
  • Ideally hold a Teacher/Training qualifications i.e. PTLLS/CTLLS (Desirable)
  • D34 or V1 Award (Desirable)
  • Ability to plan, organise and priorities own workload
  • Good customer service skills - customer orientated
  • Ability to work to deadlines
