Health and Safety Business Advisor
Based in the East or North Midlands – also covering London, Westminster and Essex
£38,615 - £40, 647 per annum - plus a company car/car allowance
35 hours per week
The Group’s Health and Safety advisors are responsible for providing advice and support to our operations and staff regarding Health and Safety responsibilities. Reporting to the Senior Health and Safety Business Advisor this role will ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation, regulatory obligations and Group policies and procedures.
Experience of the care sector and an understanding and appreciation of the issues surrounding the maintenance of a diverse property portfolio would be desirable, as this role will be based in the Group’s Care operation.
You will maintain high visibility of Health and Safety via verbal and written communications and support operational staff with effective training. Recording incidents and investigations as well as managing hazard reporting systems to ensure effective closure of actions through root cause analysis is also required.
You will possess a NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Diploma. A degree in a relevant discipline would also be desirable.
Travel will be a requirement of this role; therefore a full, current driving license is essential.
