We’re seeking a passionate Health and Safety Advisor to join a significant civil engineering project in the North West. On offer is real career growth on a landmark project, with the opportunity to influence and enhance safety culture across multiple sites.
This newly created role, driven by project expansion, allows you to make a meaningful impact from day one.
You’ll be on the ground with the teams, ensuring safe working practices, driving compliance, and building a positive safety culture across a fast-moving, complex environment.
ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE
- Leading daily briefings, inductions, and toolbox talks
- Carrying out regular site inspections and ensuring corrective actions are followed up on
- Reviewing and updating RAMS to make sure work is carried out safely and effectively
- Supporting and guiding operatives and subcontractors to maintain the highest H&S standards
- Investigating incidents and near misses, ensuring lessons are learned and shared
- Promoting a proactive approach to health and safety across all site activities
ABOUT YOU
- NEBOSH (or equivalent) qualification
- Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation
- Previous experience as a Health & Safety Advisor on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage teams
- Flexibility for shift work is required, including both day and night shifts as needed
- Open to travel to sites
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- £50,000+ (depending on experience)
