Health and Safety Administrator

I am currently recruiting for an exciting new opportunity to work as a Health and Safety Administrator.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for Health and Safety and be an organised and professional individual.

You will be working as part of a small team to administer Health and Safety regulations within an industrial site in South Wales.

A full driving license and access to your own transport is essential due to the location of the job.

Job Duties:
Ensure that all organisational policies, procedures, rules and regulations relating to health and safety are followed by staff and visitors.
* Provide advice and guidance on safe systems of work.
* Attend and minute all meetings with departmental H&S Representatives and conduct site visits to ensure follow-up actions are completed.
* Complete and review risk assessments for all work equipment and operations (e.g. show risk assessments).
* Carrying out safety inspections and audits, fire drills and fire alarms on all business sites ensuring that the safety of employees is managed and they are aware of their responsibilities.
* Review, organise and deal with all administration relating to health and safety training (i.e. manual handling, COSHH, First Aid, food hygiene, forklift truck, specialised equipment training etc).
* Appropriately deal with accidents and incidents.
* Support the Health and Safety Co-ordinator by keeping up to date with all the with all aspects of the health and safety legislation.
