Your new role
As the 'Health and Safety Administrator' you will be working with the Health and Safety Coordinator to provide all round administrative needs to the requirements of the health and safety practices and procedures. You will ensure that all organisational policies are followed by staff and visitors alike. You will provide guidance on safety at work; conducting risk assessments for equipment and operations, carry out inspections, audits and drills including fire alarms, implement COSHH, First Aid, Food Hygiene, specialised equipment training. You will also attend and take minutes within the Health and Safety meetings. You will deal any accidents and incidents, whilst keeping yourself up to date with ever changing safety legislation.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in applying for this administrator role, you will need to be a strong communicator, ultra-organised, confident with an eye for detail. You will competent IT skills i.e. Word and Excel. You must have a full UK driving license. It is advantageous if you have a qualification in a relevant Health and Safety subject e.g IOSH or NEBOSH.
What you'll get in return
Salary is negotiable at interview depending on experience but looking around £20 - 22.5k per annum for a permanent 37.5 hours a week contract Monday to Friday. You will work for a well-respected, established and successful company.
