Head Pastry Chef - Luxury Hotel - up to £28,000

Our client is a 2AA rosette establishment serving some of the county’s finest food. With an excellent reputation it is understandable that the chef brigade is of a very high standard and any pastry chef looking to apply for this position must be an excellent team player.
As a Head Pastry Chef you will be managing a small team and will be in charge of producing all the Pastry requirements both sweet and savoury for this 4 Star Hotel, which range from bread: afternoon teas: cakes and desserts.
The lunch time covers range from 30-60 for individual plated dessert and afternoon teas are very busy. A dessert trolley would need to be set up for dinner service and should cover up to 120 covers; which would include a selection of cheeses and pastries.
The ideal candidate will:
Will have a proven background within 4 star hotels or worked within AA rosette restaurant in a similar role
Must have the necessary Pastry qualifications
The Head Pastry Chef will be responsible for delivering high standards and training junior team members
You will be passionate about pastry as you will be required to create menus for the restaurant and banqueting areas
Must be able to work under pressure
Excellent organisational skills
The ability to manage a small team
