HEAD PASTRY CHEF
DAY SHIFTS ONLY
This is a great opportunity to join a successful nationwide company - the leader in their sector, operating contemporary fresh food in-house restaurants situated in thriving commercial businesses.
Due to open in Spring 2018, you will be responsible for the pastry and baking section of the kitchen which services 2 restaurants and will boast over 400 covers, and will consist of an open theatre style kitchen that will become the Group’s flagship site.
You will need your own transport.
A massive bonus is that you will work straight day shifts only & have regular weekends off.
ROLE - HEAD PASTRY CHEF
As the Head Pastry Chef you will:
Will be a member of the senior management team
Will work on concept, dish and menu development specialising in the pastry department.
You will take the lead on producing exciting and creative pastries, cakes and desserts for the restaurants
Carry out high volume baking, utilising fresh ingredients.
The kitchens are fast-paced environments so you can expect to be very hands-on and you will need to have experience of being able to manage high volumes of orders whilst ensuring exceptional standards of food quality are consistently maintained.

You will need to be confident in the use of fresh ingredients to produce delicious, aesthetically pleasing dishes. Your dishes will set the tone for the Restaurants, allowing you to utilise creative flair to create truly stunning dishes. Your knowledge of flavours, produce and ingredients should be second to none.
The pace of the restaurants can be frenetic at times, but you will enjoy a better work/life balance than traditional roles in the industry.
