A four star hotel located in Surrey is currently recruiting for a Head Pastry Chef
A popular hotel that offers high quality dining in a number of different outlets is currently seeking a Head Pastry Chef to take control of the busy pastry section in the kitchen including managing a junior member of the kitchen team. In this role of Head Pastry Chef you will be responsible for producing the desserts for the hotel’s two AA Rosette restaurant, the bar, banqueting department and for creating the pastries and cakes for the afternoon tea service as well as having an input on the menus. It will be your responsible to make sure that the pastry section is organised, always fully prepared for service and achieves the standards set by the Executive Chef.
This role needs a Pastry Chef who has been working at this level in a mutli-outlet hotel environment but who has plenty of experience working at two AA Rosette level. An organised chef who copes well under pressure and is capable or running a busy section whilst supervising others would be ideal.
