A multi-outlet Essex hotel is seeking an experienced Head Pastry Chef to join the kitchen team
The Head Chef of a hotel that offers award winning dining to its customers is seeking a Head Pastry Chef to take control of the pastry section in the kitchen. This is a very busy section with the hotel operating four different dining options alongside two different areas for afternoon tea service averaging 40 served a day and a popular banqueting department. As Head Pastry Chef you will be responsible for organising the pastry section ensuring each outlet is serviced effectively whilst also managing one other permanent staff member as well as up to two additional chefs on particularly busy days.
It is essential that all Head Pastry Chefs applying for this role have experience working at a senior level in a multi-outlet hotel as well as having previous AA Rosette cooking experience. The ability to fully control a busy department servicing a number of different menus whilst working with high quality, fresh produce creating all dishes from scratch and managing junior chefs is essential.
