Works with the Senior Management team and other Heads of Function to communicate and deliver the Company's goals and strategic plans around Customer Services and Product Knowledge by designing and delivering effective and engaging training schemes.
? Responsible for upskilling the existing workforce and improving induction and training processes
? Based between Head Office and the field with regular area training sessions
? Generates ideas about future training activities; maintains up to date knowledge of current training trends and relevant skills.
? Communicates effectively with other departments and teams to ensure the integration of the training strategy
? Spends time in shops with retail shop teams and customers to understand and identify business critical issues.
? Takes a lead role in building warmth, empathy and a customer excellence culture across the company; spends time coaching managers and prospective managers, identifying skills and opportunities for development.
? Produces and presents relevant reports for the Managing Director as required.
The Successful Applicant Experience:
? Experience in a senior training role the in retail sector.
? Able to confidently design and deliver training across different areas and subjects and to different levels of experience/management.
? Experience in different methods of training and coaching, and train the trainer/coach the coach. ? Strong business acumen.
? Experienced in managing relationships at a senior level.
? Must be able to demonstrate the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against a business strategy Personal Attributes:
