We are seeking to recruit to the post of Technical Services Manager, which is a new but key position within Powys Teaching Health Board’s (PTHB) Capital, Estates and Property senior management structure. The post holder will exhibit advanced leadership skills and have direct management responsibility for Property, Fire and Environment & Sustainability services. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Capital, Estates and Property you will be responsible for the efficient running of the Property, Fire and Environment & Sustainability services in support of the Health Board’s Integrated Medium Term Plan (IMTP); form part of the department’s senior management team, to contribute to the positive culture, coordinated and effective running of the department.
The specialist areas will need to be managed to meet the requirements and statutory obligations in respect of the key applicable technical guidance documents such as EstateCode, FireCode, Standing Financial Instructions, Procurement Frameworks, ISO 14001, etc.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
