We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Head of Social Care to oversee the management of an existing children's homes and help with setting up new provisions.
As Head of Social Care, you will be a key member of our Senior Leadership Team and will become the responsible individual of the children's homes and support the school residential services Manager.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:
" Hold a Social Work Degree or NVQ/QCF Level 5
" Demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development
" Be an experienced manager within children's services.
" Have experience of working with children and young people with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties
" Be a strong and effective leader
" Be emotionally resilient
" Have the ability to work flexibly and demonstrate resourcefulness
" Have a strong 'can do' attitude
" Have highly developed organisational skills
" Effective communication skills
" Comprehensive Induction, Competency, Growth and commitment to training & development
" Guidance, support and the benefit of being part of a strong and focused team of Registered Managers
