The role is to cover up to a years maternity leave initially

Our established client is looking to recruit a Head of Services, this role will be managing a busy service department with its own sales, field technicians, workshop and remote technical support teams making up a department of 25.

This role requires a mix of commercial, people, sales and operations skills. It will be leading the team in meeting the high customer expectations the company strive to deliver, alongside meeting monthly sales targets and continuing the introduction of new services for customers.

Responsibilities:

Manage all direct reports within the servicing department ensuring effective structure, recruitment, development, retention, and organisation of all staff in accordance with company goals and policies

Lead the department by ensuring department processes deliver high efficiency, great value and excellent customer experience

Focus on growing existing business and identifying new opportunities, influencing and leading their implementation.

Enhance the sales and marketing strategy to maximise achievement of opportunities

Generate innovative ideas ensuring the competition has to react to our successful new services and routes to market

Develop the product & service offering, liaising with other departments to ensure all resources are in place to support new opportunities

Research new markets, technologies and services strengthening the department's contribution to the overall company strategy

Bring appropriate strengths to the department, ideally developing and implementing appropriate category plans

Identify improvements that could be made to processes and systems.

To set, agree and implement a clear vision, strong sense of direction, effective commercial strategy and specific growth plans

The Person:

A strong customer focus with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A strong manager aligning team member goals with company goals, developing both individuals and the team.

The person must be self-motivated and have the drive to succeed.

Needs good business acumen, commercial focus, professionalism and strong analytical skills, including good computer literacy

Ability to adapt to any task and surrounding environment - tenacious in their approach to work and a resolve to not be defeated at the first hurdle

To have an attitude for achieving excellence in Customer Service and Satisfaction

Candidates must have a full driving licence and be willing to travel to meet company needs.

Company offer a fantastic working environment, good benefits car allowance £4800 and bonus up to 15%
