Head of SEO

Are you a specialist SEO professional looking for a new and exciting opportunity working for a leading gaming organisation based in Norfolk?

Pure are proud to be supporting a highly successful organisation to recruit this new and exciting Head of SEO position. The purpose of this role will be to work alongside the Marketing team to increase search traffic via visibility and rank improvement initiatives such as identifying content opportunities that will drive top of the funnel traffic to sites.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsibility for all SEO activities promoting different Company sites, landing pages, portals
• Develop new markets and improve online ranking in current markets
• Ensuring that the brand Image and visibility is optimised in search engines
• Develop new markets and improve online ranking in current markets
• Use web tools to track site traffic, rankings and sales
• Participate in strategies to help build links to the site
• Work with both SEO and PR agency to deliver the best results
• Think outside the box to ensure highest possible ranking regarding the content for all sites
• Deliver SEO-strategies for content, marketing and product teams for optimal SEO production
• Utilize social media tools/services when and if relevant
• Keeping up to date with changes in search engine signals and market share
• Create and deliver reporting to the key stakeholders to ensure maximum impact and create a collaborative environment
• Continuous awareness of industry best practices to allow full optimization of marketing campaigns and web strategies without risking long term negative effects
• Technical understanding of on-page SEO and the ability to communicate with technical teams.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of SEO across content and outreach, you will be an expert in Keyword Research, as well as familiarity with a range of analytics and outreach tools. You will have up to date knowledge of the latest developments and trends in SEO, onsite optimization and user experience.
