Having experienced significant growth over the last few years', our client is now seeking to recruit a Head of Sales to become instrumental in the future growth and management of the commercial team.
As Head of Sales, you will be responsible for c. 20 people with both first and second line reports covering both delivery, new business and account management. This position will ideally suit someone who has proven experience in hands on man-management and is confident in the creation of process and procedure.
Head of Sales Role:
We are looking for an organised Head of Sales who can demonstrate a background in leading and expanding sales teams alongside working closely with the Senior Leadership team to implement strategic growth. Core skills and background include:
• Excellent sales leadership skills
• Very strong coaching and mentoring skills including the ability to develop people
• Experience of putting together targeted sales business plans for the team and individuals therein
• Experience of operating at senior management level
• Great commercial acumen
• Energy, drive and motivation
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
It is key that this person is a strong coach and mentor; someone who can lead from the front, train, develop and nurture the team members to achieve excellent performance and over achieve on targets.
