Head of Sales - Premium Spirits Off-Trade

£55,000-£65,000 DOE + bonus & package

If you are a natural hunter who is passionate about the spirits and drinks industry then I need to hear from you!

My client is an expanding international distributor of branded spirits with an excellent portfolio of brands, you will manage the Off-Trade channel to deliver volume and gross profit targets within the annual budget..

You will be responsible for both new business and account management & targeting national groups, off-trade businesses and wholesale.

This will suit an experienced National Account Manager or Head of Sales with existing contacts in the above listed channels.

About you:

Your key role and focus will be to introduce new accounts within the Grocery, Convenience & Wholesale channels and must have strong and existing relationships within the industry. 

You will able open doors with new national accounts to achieve the agreed company financial objectives, maximise new sales growth opportunities and retain large accounts.

It is essential you have knowledge within the Grocery, Convenience & Wholesale channels and a proven sales track record with a similar premium drinks brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Your primary focus is to drive distribution, visibility of the portfolio & leveraging listings to further establish distribution
  • Lead and develop the company’s national account activity, ensuring effective leadership, existing account management, and new business growth
  • Utilising key contacts within your network to create new business opportunities within Off-Trade and establish a broad and diverse customer base
  • Develop joint business plans in order to deliver against the budgeted growth targets for your channels
  • Share category trends and insights to facilitate decision making and product ranging, leading to a greater presence for the brand portfolio

Essential skills & experience:

  • A good understanding of the Grocery, Convenience & Wholesale channels
  • Existing contacts in the above listed channels.
  • 3-5 years proven track record in sales with a premium spirit  brand
  • Successful negotiation of major contracts at board level 
  • Strong business and strategic acumen
