Head of Sales - Manchester City Centre

Job Description:

We are seeking an outstanding sales professional with recruitment experience to lead the delivery of sales growth for our Advertise-A-Job product. Recruitment knowledge is a must, as is a resilient and tenacious mind-set, the ability to work under pressure, plus proven experience hitting and exceeding sales targets.
 

The Head of Sales will work with account management professionals and will follow up marketing leads as-well-as generating new incoming business. You will be responsible for ensuring all business opportunities are maximised. You may be in a new business development role looking for a step up to management or may already be in a sales management role in the recruitment industry, looking for your next career move.
 

Key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Sell our job board advertising AAJ product to new businesses
  • Make calls to marketing qualified prospects and generate your own leads
  • Maximise business opportunities from existing customers
  • Line manage Account Managers
  • Fully understand the recruitment sector and offerings in order to identify trends and opportunities that will maximise business growth.

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrable sales experience and business acumen in recruitment
  • Demonstrable management skills
  • Demonstrable experience hitting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent English language communication skills required
  • Solid commercial awareness
  • Excellent diary management
