Head of Sales is required for a leading manufacturer of instrumentation, controls and sensors for industries such as motorsport, defence, marine and heavy industry. You MUST have experience with people management and be from a relevant industry and product. The role is office based so you will commutable (Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire)

Manages sales of the Company's portfolio of products globally
Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues
Planning, deployment and management of sales personnel
Collaborates with Directors to establish and control budgets
Responsible for sales trend analysis, market monitoring, and result tracking.
Direct management responsibility for the sales team.
Key account management including distributors and OEM's as required.
Establishes and manages effective programmes to mentor, appraise and train sales personnel.
Performs sales activities on major accounts
Manages personnel and develops sales and sales support staff.Accurate reporting and forecasting of annual, quarterly and monthly sales.
Collaborates with Product Manager to develop sales strategies
Requirements of Sales Manager
Experience in the measurement, Instruments, sensor or controls sector.
Relevant degree or advanced professional qualification. (ideally electronics engineering)
Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets is a MUST
Demonstrable experience in developing customers.
Senior level candidate
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or equivalent CRM system.
Current driving license/passport and willingness to travel frequently
