Head of Sales and Marketing (Relocation France, Ski Resort)
Chardons are looking for someone to head-up and develop our sales and marketing department in Tignes, the French Alps (world class ski resort)
This is already a sizable undertaking handling over 3 million euros of sales per annum, with potential for expansion in the next 12 months.
A demanding role with lots of responsibility
An exciting role in a growing yet friendly business with good scope for personal progression after an initial 6-month trial.
Running a team of x 5 sales staff and the reps in the winter, working on marketing and other projects in the summer.
The applicant will form part of our 6-person management team in resort collectively running all aspects of the client facing operational business, all Chardons Senior Managers must lead by example - they must a be great time keeper, be reliable, dependable, motivated and hard working.
We are a British owed business; all our staff and most of our guests are English speaking.
This is a unique opportunity to escape the rat race and live in the beautiful French alps with great hiking, biking and activities in the Summer and a world class ski resort in the Winter, whilst undertaking a challenging and stimulating role.
This is a lifestyle role and the starting wages are not on par with a similar job in the UK (although all your overheads are covered, plus free access to world class sports, so lots of scope to save).
A year-round role and we would be looking for at least a 2 -year minimum commitment from the applicant.
Working 5.5 days a week in the winter and 5 days a week in the summer
A mixed rota pattern in the winter with split shifts (am and pm shifts) allowing plenty of time for skiing/biking/hiking during the day. And very flexible rota in the summer around your personal schedule/ good weather.
We are a busy and expanding hotel and chalet business based in Tignes les Brevieres and Val d'isere, Espace Killy, French Alps.

Looking for a highly driven and positive person with a track record of high achievement who is prepared to work hard to put their mark on the department and grow it to it’s next phase.
The right applicant must be sales driven/focused and used to working to targets and must be good at coming up with new and exciting ways to market our business and develop new income streams.
We would consider a professional person (such as a lawyer/ accountant/ project manager/ IT professional etc) who may have worked in a very different field, looking to get out the rat race and to take on a new challenge, they must be used to working in a fast-paced environment and to KPI's
This is a fast-paced role and requires an applicant who is organised and reacts well under pressure.
Previous experience in the following areas would be viewed as a benefit:

- French speaking

- Financial forecasting
Salary and Benefits
Our Package includes:
* Starting salary 15 - 20k euros depending on experience (this is the pure salary for the first 6 months, after that time it will be open to renegotiate based on first season results)
