Head of Revenue/Contract Management - Software

Talentedge are exclusively partnering with a market leading, VC backed software business on a business critical hire to head up their revenue recognition/contract management function.

Reporting directly into the COO, you will partner with Heads of Client Services for all international regions (EMEA/APAC/Americas) and Sales Leaders to provide guidance on structuring and negotiating new business as well as renewal contracts. Key responsibilities will include:

• Work closely with International Heads of Client Services & Sales Leaders concerning revenue forecasting, providing supporting data as required
• Drive sales pipeline to conversion rate analysis
• Sign off on all new business and renewal contracts
• Liaise with contract administration function, ensuring contracts are properly executed, document flow and storage requirements are standardized, and contracts are available for revenue recognition analysis
• Turn an executed contract into a valid invoice, overseeing the Revenue & Contracts Manager on the accounting aspects of a contract: accruals, deferrals, recognition, credit memos
• Ensure the appropriate revenue recognition for all revenue arrangements is accurately accounted for by your team
• Manage a small team

• Degree educated, Six-sigma Green or Black Belt/qualified accountant
• Revenue recognition experience, with a working knowledge of the financial complexities present in the software industry
• Strong financial understanding including financial reporting, financial analysis, financial planning, revenue accounting, accrual accounting
• Demonstrate ability to work with high volume transaction processes that require organization skills and strong attention to detail
