My Guildford based client is seeking to recruit an outstanding individual to lead their Resourcing and Talent Team and strategy.
The People Group function has recently begun a transformation programme to reflect a new way of working, aligned more strongly with the business and adding greater value to the organisation strategy and organisations ability to compete and be successful in the future.
The People Group key roles within the new model include HR Business Partner, a shared People Services Team, and Organisational Development and Resourcing and Talent Expertise.
As the Head of Talent & Resourcing you will be a key member of the People Group Leadership Team working with a business partnering model, fully supported by Centres of Excellence. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Group People Plan, with specific accountability for ensuring the organisation has the requisite talent and skills it needs in the short and long term.
This role will have a strong focus on the employer value proposition (EVP) and organisation brand management.
This role is not for the feint hearted, but will provide exceptional career development for the right person.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll be educated to degree level (or equivalent), with a CIPD qualification and have previous experience of leading a resourcing and talent planning service in a complex, customer-facing organisation that has seen major change and transformation.
You will also:-
Have specific experience and expertise in managing a diverse workforce strategy that encompasses core, seasonal and associate employment models.
Have a track record of developing focused resourcing and talent strategies and solutions across diverse workforce models
Have proven stakeholder and relationship management skills, displaying gravitas and credibility to gain early acceptance in and to operate effectively and with the Executive and senior leadership team
Be delivery focused in ambiguity and able to deliver in a maturing business model; acting with autonomy to develop effective solutions where broader frameworks might not be in place or be under development
Demonstrate a team focus and support collective responsibility across the People Group and the organisation.
What you'll get in return
Salary £70,000 - £80,000
35 hour week
25 days annual leave rising to 30 days, plus all Bank Holidays and additional Christmas leave
